After weeks of cold weather and far too much of this...
Look out world.
...we were THRILLED to have a glimpse of Spring today.
Clear blue skies and temps in the low 60s were just what we needed to enjoy a glorious Saturday. After being cooped up indoors KP&R seemed to have plenty of energy to burn. And these pictures reinforce my position that despite her ability to dress up in frilly clothing and play the part of delicate princess...

I love her pink boots! So cute!
Oh to have sunshine and 60 degrees. We are in Ohio where we have had over two feet of snow recently, and freezing rain on the way. There was a yellow thing up in the sky yesterday and I'm pretty sure it was the sun. Too bad I didn't have my camera with me! Enjoy the spring weather, and send a little north if you don't mind! :-)
love it! thanks! needed that smile this morning :)
They remind me of rambunctious little puppies! And Amen to the celebration of warm weather!
Those pics make me even more ready for a nice warm day! We haven't seen 50 degrees since the first of December and have only seen 40 a few times since then. I am soooo ready for a warm and sunny day! Love the pics of your kiddos enjoying the time outdoors. Hurray for sunshine!
Jen,
I've been reading your blog for awhile and I think you're such a good momma. One thing I have noticed with my 4.5 year old, is that since she's been going to preschool two mornings a week (which is not very much time spent at school!!!), she has learned things that I know could not have come from any other place. She'll occasionally throw out phrases like, "whatever!!", "who cares!" etc. etc. She says it in a way that I can tell she is almost imitating another child who talks like that. Makes me sad.
Some I think too might just be typical 5 year old stuff...testing their limits, etc. Not that it shouldn't be nipped in the bud, but typical nonetheless.
Good luck!
Laura (from Ohio)
