Dear D.,
We have just returned from an exciting time together as a family. We laughed a lot, cried a little, ran, jumped, danced, squealed, giggled, played and generally enjoyed lots of what makes childhood so much fun.
The very best part was that our Daddy got to be right in the center of all the action, free from the distraction of his pager and the obligations he is so conscientious about on the other end of the line.
We spent lots of time snuggled up right next to him--arguing over who got to sit with him next, excitedly discussing all of the new memories we were making together.
Daddy got to spend time with each of us doing special things--all by ourselves. It was awesome.
We enjoyed visiting with lots of characters. Our autograph books are almost full! (Tigger was the funniest.)
We also really enjoyed the view from our room. It was a great spot to watch the nightly fireworks in our pajamas after a long day.
We even got to try out our new costumes at Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween party. (P is Tick Tock the croc, in case you were wondering.)
Mommy & Daddy enjoyed seeing our big smiles and listening to our excited chatter.
We each pray for you every night--that your health will continue to improve so you can get back to making fun memories with your family very soon.
It is hard for us to understand why you would do something so nice for us. Mommy and Daddy told us that the gift you gave us was very valuable. We are pretty sure they used the word priceless.
All we know is that "this week rocked," (P) "was da best ever" (R) and was "really awesome." (K) And the truth is, as we get older, we will probably appreciate it even more.
Thank you ve-wy, ve-wy much!
K,R & P
