Cardboard Testimonies

THIS was an incredible way to start my day...

Except trying to explain to a 4 year old why I was sobbing as I watched. (Actually, that was a beautiful, painfully inarticulate moment, too.)

What a mighty God we serve!

The tears were flowing here the first . . and second time we watched it, as I had to replay it to explain to my 12-year-old why I was sobbing in front of the computer.

Okay, yes, tears as well followed for me. Oh my word, this puts life so in perspective this morning. God is so good and so faithful to so many of his people. I love this. I will be forwarding this on as well. Thanks for sharing.

Jen,

I saw this a couple of months ago and had the same reaction. I thought about what my cardboard testimony would be...........

Oh wow! Sobbing so much. Exactly what I needed today as I was doubting last night God's presence in some current struggles. God is using you JMOM.

Wow...it's not just the testimonies that are amazing, it's the fact that these people are professing them up on stage in front of a whole crowd of people. Wow. Just wow.

My husband called while I was in the middle of watching it. He asked what in the world I was sniffling over. I could hardly wait to send the link to him. Thanks for sharing!

This is a great video. My husband posted it on his blog a few weeks ago. I will plagarize my husband since he is my husband after all..."'Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.' Hebrews 4:13 NLT
We tend to wear "masks" - smiling through our troubles or trying to keep stiff upper lips. But God has a sort of 'spiritual X-ray vision' that penetrates through any facades that we may build.
To Him, everything is real.
And that can be comforting. Because in spite of all the ugly stuff I want to hide from everyone else - He knows about it and loves me anyway. His is not a love that excuses my faults; but one that forgives them and invites me to let Him change me."

God is truly our deliverer!

I did see this a few months ago...but I don't think it could ever grow old. What a wonderful reminder of God's unending love, compassion, and forgiveness. Isn't it crazy all he asks you to do is believe? What a wonderful life-altering gift.

Thank you so much for posting this video. What a powerful reminder of how powerful God's love is for us. I get so caught up in everyday life that I forget to take a moment to reflect on Jesus and His love. Thanks, too, for your continual inspiration to be in The Word and in prayer. I appreciate your honesty and your committment to Christ.
