I have converted

Goodbye PC. Hello Mac.

For our anniversary, my hubby got me a new laptop and an ipod. Does he love me or what?
I feel like a 3rd grader re-learning how to use the computer. So far I am very happy...but a little insecure. I still haven't packed the old PC away because in a crunch I cannot help but rush over and use it. How sad that my laptop is my security blanket! Welcome to motherhood in 2008, huh?

My favorite thing about it so far is the photobooth application.

This provides loads of entertainment on a rainy (or sunny) day. I admit I have even played with it when the children were not around. Why is this fun?

It looks like what I see when I have a high fever.

Freaky.

Fun. I got an iPod for Christmas and it is totally addictive. The joke with my husband is that I look like a mere twentysomething when I'm listening to it. Have fun with your new toys.

You will LOVE it! I made "the switch" a year ago after a long time of coaxing on my husband's part and it is awesome. Pretty soon you'll sit down at a PC and feel like it's all backwards...trust me!

I prefer Macs over Windows ANYDAY! Saying that though I do have to say I have a PC. Macs are so much more reliable and the seems to be more security with them.

My husband got a Mac this year and LOVES it. It has a lot of neat features and yes - photobooth is my favorite. Every time I babysit my best friend's little girl - we sit in front of it and make faces - just like your kids are doing. It's a great source of entertainment!

Oh yes! Good for you. Once the insecurity is gone, you will never look back.

We have over 800 funny photos on our photo booth. It is fun for the mama at our house, too.

These are fantastic and worth many hours of occupied play and no arguments.

I love my Mac. What a fabulous hubby, indeed.

I know my daughter switched from PC to Mac, and swears it's just the best thing ever. Still a bit scary to move out of your comfort zone. She's told me she never ever has to deal with viruses, etc. hmmmmm...

My husband bought me a Mac for my birthday last month. I love it too. The quality of the screen alone could've done it for me, but love the easy, fast, fun features too!

Looks like you're already having fun! Why didn't I try this sooner? Now my husband wants one. Enjoy.

I just got a mac in November. I LOVE it. I am going to sign up at the Mac store to take some lessons. We all love the photo booth feature too.

Welcome Mac Sister! I've only had a Mac ever. My husband & I used Macs when Macs weren't cool. We got teased. Now who's laughing. We laugh everytime a PC friend has to take theirs in to get debugged. We have never. You will love it. You will love iPhoto! I have 9,282 pictures on iphoto. Smart hubby you have!
Congrats. Enjoy!

I just had to comment. I'm a total PC junkie but my parents (in their 60s) have been Mac users since I was a kid. My Mom got a iBook for Christmas from my Dad. She comes down when my hubby travels and the highlight is their Photobooth time (Grammy & the 2 big kids). They take crazy pictures and email them to Daddy on his trips. He loves it too! If it wasn't for the fact that my husband works for Sony (and therefore doesn't speak anything that starts with 'i') I'd get any and everything Mac, too! Enjoy your new toys!
