The Thing About Being Two

...is the uncanny (and bewildering to rational adults) ability to go from this...
To this...
To this... in a matter of seconds and for no particularly obvious reason.

Hey! I think there's a lot in common with 2 year olds and pre-menopausal women.

So cute! And so true--I agree with Perri, but I think it's just 2 year olds and women in general!

I hear you!!! Anna Miles and Davis are 21 months now and have approached the wonderful world of "terrible twos" (and they are not even two yet). Life is just flat out frustrating for them at times. I could not be more blessed to have two terrific healthy kiddos, but WOW I am exhausted.

Since I couldn't leave a comment earlier on your Multiple Mama's section, I will try to comment on it right now.......

What you failed to mention to the world is that you had already taken your triplets to swim lessons in the morning (has to be quite a chore with swim diapers, suits, sunscreen, etc.). Then you drove to Atlanta and dropped your husband off to play some relaxing golf. Then you sat in crazy Atlanta traffic trying to get to the club to meet us for an afternoon of swimming which you made it to with smiles. THEN you got your kids to the grandparent's house, fed them, bathed them, and got them in bed. Just in time to then go celebrate Father's Day with Ryland and his father at dinner. I'm exhausted just writing that. Can anyone say SUPERMOM??

We loved seeing y'all and can't wait to spend more time with y'all soon.
Love,
Marianna and the Taylor crew

Marianna- I don't think it makes me "Super" just CRAZY!

A funny sidenote about Kate's hair in these pictures. She has never allowed me to pull it up until today. Tonight after dinner she felt around for her ever-present bow then said "Where is she curly hair?" Ryland & I assured her it was still there.

You lUCKY lucky mom, Your children are soooo beautiful. I read everything you wrote you are an awesome mom!!
Yes I do not blame you for dreading the potty training, however this may give you some conselation.
I have a friend who is 44. She has a 15 year old and a 10 year old. She gets sick and has to go to the Dr. She is pregnant with TRIPLETS....
That was 3 years ago. she is almost 50 and potty training.
The Identical girls were not planned at all and her kids were older. So I know you can do it as well!!
Have a great day!! I put you on my favorites list because I absolutely love your site..
