As I looked back over pictures of our weekend, I couldn't help but notice how well the photographs captured the multi-layered personality of my sweet girl. She is, in many regards, an enigma. 
Although she loves to dress up in pretty clothes and don big bows, she is quite comfortable barefoot, covered in dirt, curls in her face chasing some type of insect or worm. 
Her favorite two pastimes are mothering her baby dolls and doting on earthworms.
Her career aspirations vary from artist to nurse to veterinarian. (A couple of days ago she saw a woman on a motorcycle and decided she, too, wanted to be a 'biker girl' when she was older.)
She is a whirlwind of silliness and giggles. It is no wonder that when she crashes, she crashes hard.
If I could have custom designed a little girl, I couldn't have even come close to one this terrific.Oh, how I love our girl! I cannot wait to see what God has in store for her life.
