I recently saw this coffee cup and was stunned by it.
For all of the arguments on the pro choice side of the fence, the outright self centeredness advocated by this logo shocked me.
Love your life. That is the publicized marketing campaign for termination of a pregnancy? It is not an encouragement to love LIFE...just your own.
And apparently many view children as a hindrance to living a life they could really love.
We live in a fallen, broken, misled world.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. Matthew 18:25 (NIV)

Oh, that is just horrifying. And it makes me want to cry.
This is just so sad. And sick.
Infuriating. PPA makes me sick with their pretending to care about women while performing "reproductive services" that scar women for life. Grrrrrr.
I recently came across a old high school acquaintance on Facebook who now works for Planned Parenthood of NYC. I at first didn't even know what "Planned Parenthood" meant. :( When I realized it, I felt like I was going to throw up. What is wrong with these people????
amazing. they're totally oblivious to the conflicting message there. similarly, there was a big march in dallas a few years ago promoting abortion (well, i think they spun it as "reproductive freedom" or something), and it was called "march for life".
Sad. Self Centered.
Actually, I love my life the way it is right now...without children, because I know my husband and I are not ready financially or emotionally to bring children into this world. So I see nothing wrong with planning when we have children to bring them into a home that is ready for them! Just another way to look at the slogan! Planned Parenthood does offer many birth control options for women (and men!) who would not be able to afford them otherwise...not just abortions. Just offering a different perspective! :)
Totally agree with you!
makes me want to vomit.
