Water War

We have a had a long, hot week. R has been in baseball camp from 8:30-12 every day in 90+ degree weather. Our afternoons have been spent rehydrating and staying cool. After several straight days at the pool, we opted for a little at-home entertainment this afternoon. It started with washing the car, then the dog...and before we knew it we had a water war on our hands.
Daddy came home around 5:30 (right in the heat of battle) so, the children decided to help him get in the thick of things. Unfortunately, he was not quite finished with his work day. When he picked up a water gun, K decided he was fair game.
Do you see the phone up to his ear? K did not seem to notice it.

She chased him around the yard like this until he retreated to our neighbor's yard. (Don't worry, it was an understanding colleague, not a patient.) Between his sprinting and her giggling I was quite entertained.
My delicate flower. She is just so reserved, refined and prissy.
She was quite proud of herself until he got off the phone and she was faced with THIS.
(Insert SQUEALS of glee...)What a fun afternoon!

What is the brand/name of the water pump toy that K (and later your husband) is holding? It looks like something my kids would enjoy.

Theresa- They were a gift last year so I am not sure where they were purchased. I did look at them to see if there was any identifying information...the only thing printed on them is Made In China. Sorry!!!

I just came across your blog thru Kellys Korner and I think your story is beautiful...we too struggled with infertility and were blessed with twins! God Bless your family!
