Talk Talk Talk

The children in my home are incredibly verbal. It is talk, talk, talk all day long. What a source of entertainment!

K was a very early riser this morning, so she had breakfast alone. I was unloading the dishwasher when she started spontaneously laughing amidst her otherwise silent meal.
"What's so funny?"
"I was just thinkin' about somethin' in my mind that our silly kitty might do."
Then she giggled some more.
When did she get so big?

After breakfast she, P & I were discussing what they would grow up to be.
"A clown!" K responded quickly, "Actually, a mommy," she followed up, "and a clown."
"What about you, P" I inquired.
"A zero." he said.
"A zero?" I asked
"Aww P, jus' think about what you are good at, " K encouraged.

This afternoon R walked in the room wearing sunglasses and carrying a baseball bat and ball.
"Mommy, I need to tell you a question and whoever says no to da question is goin' to make me so sad I will cwy and be berry sad," he said all in one breath.
"Okay..." I replied nervously.
"Will you play baseball wiff me...an wemember I will cwy if you say no..."

Watching this transition into free thinking, funny people right before my very eyes is amazing. Have you stopped to think today about what miracles surround us everyday? Aside from the obvious ones like the glory of nature, healed hearts and lives, there are little miracles eating the meals I prepare and asking me to wipe their bottoms. Astounding!

Will also says " I need to tell you a question!" Isn't it the best. Your kids are so very cute.

Thanks for sharing the cute conversations from your kiddos. Sometimes, they are my day brighteners!! Loved the question that came from R fully loaded. "I will cry if you say no". Wow! that little guy is a thinker to ask a fully loaded question like that.

I'm so glad you are having fun and enjoying your sweet trio. They are blessed...and you are blessed.

"Oh taste and see that the Lord is good..."

Warmly,
Joan
