Amen.

This morning at 7:20 my neighbor from two houses down was standing at my back door. They had found Oreo!

Her 48 hour odyssey is over. The lost one is home and we have all learned a sweet lesson about faith and prayer. I can't get the grin off my face. What a blessed way to start our day!

UPDATED TO ADD: Someone asked me in the comments to share the children's reaction to finding Oreo. That was the biggest lesson to me, because last night when R prayed, I cringed. All I could think about was how I was going to 'explain' when God didn't answer. My children, on the other hand, TRULY believed if they asked God it would happen. They were happy...but not at all suprised.

Awesome! I've had those moments too where I thought more about how I was going to explain something than count on God to answer something I thought not likely. When I was working with orphans in Russia one summer. The children prayed for icecream for afternoon snack - a very rare occasion. Us teachers were more surprised than any that we did indeed have icecream that afternoon. God was probably smiling.

What a wonderful report. The faith of a little child is so strong. Praise God! As for the kitty, she probably just got confused, but as she gets older she will learn where home is and will find her way back. Speaking from experience with my two kittens, that are now almost 14.
