To further illustrate my point in the last question about how I started blogging, check out this comment:
"Hi Jen... I'm a lurker on your blog! Me & my "twin" sister were in 7th grade with you and I almost fell out of my chair at the response to question #8. We were good friends at that time so I'm hoping after speaking with my sister that was not us or we have blocked that memory out from shame (hoping for the 1st one):) Your children are beautiful!"
My mouth fell on the floor in astonishment! I honestly cannot believe it. I have not spoken to this person in 20 years and they read my blog. It was you, but don't worry, I am over it. :-) (Jason B. was the crush if I remember correctly..and in retrospect, I think it was 8th grade not 7th. Remember the Religion journals we had to keep in our cubbies?) Hilarious. I am dying to know which sister reads this and where/how you are now...and how on Earth you found my blog. Please e-mail me from the link in my profile!

Wow. You are right, you never know who reads your blog everyday. I have many that I go to that never comment on but it doesn't mean that I do not love to read them.
Kiss the kids!!
Love,

Oh my JMom. What a way to re-connect with someone!
I'm tempted, if I ever start my own blog, to not tell anyone about it. But it seems many people start off that way, but the blog ends up moving beyond that.
It's a small world after all...

Boy, you sure do know how to make people come out of hiding, don't you? And what a small internet world to get back in touch with someone from jr high! That has happened to me with a friend from college, but that was only 12 years ago.
Okay, that is weird, isn't it? You just never know who is reading. I can't get over that.
I am one of the "lurkers". I'm in CA and my baby is 17 years old. A former co-worker of mine and his wife had a CDH baby, and I found your blog mentioned on CDH blog. Anyway, I love reading about your babies and wish I had more of my own. I also think most of your readers are probably moms and your family is safe. Best wishes from "The OC".
I just read your last several posts and this just stunned me. I can't imagine someone I knew that long ago just showing up in my comments. You must have been completely shocked.
And the advice you give in #8 of your blogging story is excellent. Never, ever write something about someone you wouldn't say to their face. I learned that the hard way, too.
By the way, the photos you just posted of the kids are precious. They are just as cute as they can possibly be.
That's much more amazing than us hooking up in WM, and I thought that was pretty wild, too. I pray that God has something really cool in store for your renewed connection.
