Happy Birthday, Granddaddy!

What fun we had today celebrating Granddaddy's upcoming birthday. The morning began with a little party we took to his front door in Atlanta. We then enjoyed the Children's Museum, because what Granddaddy doesn't want to spend his birthday in a building full of preschoolers. :-)After the museum, we had a great lunch (which included dancing to a jazz ensemble) and went for a visit with Great-Grandmother Scott.
The view of our backseat on the ride home was all the proof we needed that the children had a big day--hope Granddaddy did!

Thanks to Laura for the updated Granddaddy picture. She did a marvelous job of removing the balloon string from his face!

oh my goodness. the cuteness. i cannot get enough of it. i have loved reading this little part of heaven for so long. and i hope i've commented a time or two.

but today. this just had to take the cake. your kids in the backseat zonked. love it.

i have a 3 1/2-year-old (and a 9-month-old), so i have so much fun relating to your stories. not your 3-at-once stories. just their age.

Love that they fell asleep with the party hats on. Adorable.

Hope you got a nap in too! :) Not while driving of course.

Love, Michelle

I LOVE picture posts of these 3!!!!

I don't know which one tickled me more: the one of them rolling around in the Children's Museum, or the one of them asleep, still wearing their party hats. SO FUN!!

I so enjoy coming to your site and reading all about your adorable family! I love all the "funnies" that your kids say, and their outfits are always so adorable! Even though I don't comment on each entry, I read them all! Your family is gorgeous!

Those kids are just precious! I love the last photo.

And, you're right. What granddaddy doesn't want to spend his birthday with preschoolers? I know mine dad would love it.
