Days 16 & 17 Peaceful and Joyful

*Sorry I have gotten off track on our 31 days of prayer. Our house was listed formally Thursday so things are crazy busy getting ready for the realtors' caravan.

So let's agree to use all our energy in getting along with each other. Help others with encouraging words; don't drag them down by finding fault. Romans 14:19 (The Message)

Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Romans 14:19 (NIV)

You paid careful attention to the way we lived among you, and determined to live that way yourselves. In imitating us, you imitated the Master. Although great trouble accompanied the Word, you were able to take great joy from the Holy Spirit!—taking the trouble with the joy, the joy with the trouble.
I Thessalonians 1:5-6 (The Message)

Lord, make my children peacemakers. Help them to always look for solutions that as your Word says, "are mutually edifying." Grant them the ability to see past themselves, in order to do what is right. I also pray that they will choose joy, Father. You are the same regardless of circumstances. I pray that they, too, will be joyful in every situation because they are imitators of You and they believe to the deepest recesses of their soul that You are Sovereign. Peace and joy, peace and joy. Amen.

*I just re-read this in light of the chaos we are experiencing with packing, moving, renovating the new house, showing the old house, plus all the other life stuff we already had going. It was a nice reminder for Mommy as well. Peace and joy, peace and joy...

Whoa, sister! You've got a lot going on! (Of course, with toddler triplets, you've got a lot going on even on the most mundane day!!) I'm praying for you to make it through the showings of your house/renovations of the new one, and just life in general during this. The thought of listing our house right now gives me tremors :) I talked Chris out of it for this year--everytime we talked about it, I cried. He finally came to my side of the discussion!

So I'm going to live vicariously through you this year :)
