Need more batteries...
I have this vague memory of my toddler-aged niece, who is now 9, telling me her baby doll needed more batteries (when it actually needed someone to re-attach its head). Anyway, the tradition has definitely been continued around here. When anything is broken, it needs "bad-da-wees." If I tell the children that a particular thing does not take batteries, K always replies while nodding her head affirmatively, "Daddy pix it?"

Batteries' healing powers were taken to a whole new level this morning when P fell and bonked his forehead. Through his tears he said, "Mom-mee. I need bad-da-wees!"

Oh, I agree. If batteries could fix it all we'd be in great shape!
