Despite the description, it was wonderful. The weather was perfect, the children well-behaved and our hostess, Marianna, was prepared for anything (including a lovely little picnic). It was a fun time!
We all tried desperately to get a group picture, but there were FAR too many moving targets for that to happen. (I took 46 pictures and not a single one managed to get all 9 of the toddlers in the frame.)
K enjoyed having 3 other little girls as playmates. All the toddlers loved seeing the babies. Kimberly, the other mother of 2 year old triplets, and I watched the new triplet Mom, Elizabeth, in awe. How did we do that? It is TRULY a blur!
The funniest moment was in the car on the way to our date, R said, "Mommy! I have a boogie. Look!" At that point I looked in the rear view mirror to see him pulling his finger out of his nose and showing me the treasure he had excavated. Before I could say anything in response, R said, "Mommy, I give boogie to Anna Miles." Aaah, boys....He is already courting the ladies. But as long as those are the gifts he is supplying, I won't be worried anytime soon!

Hi Jen-
What a great day! I am another triplet mom with ATM and was wondering if the Elizabeth was Elizabeth Newton. I was in the hospital with her and her babies would be about 4 months old. I would love to get in touch with her again!
I enjoy your blog. Thanks for the great posts and letting me know what I have to look forward to!
Looks like it was a perfect day with no batteries needed!
Looks like a fun day. Wow, that stroller! I can't imagine pushing that around. :-)
WOW! I playdates are the best! I wish I could have been there to see all the kids. Three sets of triplets and a set of twins. What a site. Thanks for sharing.
Love Ryland's gift - no doubt a prized possession he was willing to share. Looks like fun to me.

Look lie so much fun. It is a joy to watch children interact. Nice break for the mommy's too. Adult conversation and comparing notes.
WOW! How fun! I just have to say wow. How DID you do it, and how DO the other mothers of multiples do it? I am an overpacker, just in case I need this, and my diaper bag is packed full mother. How would I do it with THREE?
Did you have 3 overstuffed diaper bags or did you give up and just have one? (although I realize your personality might not be the prepared for anything like mine)
Kili- I kept three bags in my car, one of eating out, one for diaper changes only and a "master" backpack! I actually learned to travel pretty light because the babies were enough...and they each had heart monitors to deal with until they wewre 6 months old, too!
jenmom- oh my. i would SO stress out. well i like the 3 diaper bag ideas. easier than anything else...until you take them to nursery at church! :) I suppose what God brings you, you learn to handle...right?! ;)
