Come Back, Daddy!

What Mommy has neglected to mention, is that Daddy flew to Montana for a fishing trip when we returned from the beach. This is his first "boys trip" in years! Annie the Nanny has been on vacation this week, so the 4 of us have had the whole house to ourselves since Wednesday. (Mom thought it best to not announce this fact until Daddy had returned.)

"Gwanmudder & Gwandaddy" came to visit for the morning Friday, which is always lots of fun.

Saturday, Mommy tried to domesticate us, (which is particularly funny if you know our very un-domestic mommy.) We dusted the house while singing songs from Kindermusik. We baked cookies (we think they cook faster if you watch). Finally, we helped Mommy wash the car. It was so much fun we got our cars out of the garage and washed them too.

Too bad she couldn't figure out how to teach us to unpack!

This afternoon we are on our way to the airport to pick up Daddy. We are excited, but somehow we think Mom might be even moreso.

Yes, it will be good to have Daddy back home. Our's gets back today, too.

I hope that he caught all kinds of great fish during his trip & is feeling fully rejuvenated! :)

It's nice having the bed all to yourself...but it's much nicer having someone to share it with!
Todd has an annual "no girls allowed" ski trip with his best friends. He always looks forward to it!
Enjoy having Daddy home! We are!

We've experience daddy away times too often for work and always overjoyed when he returns! I can imagine how wonderful it is to welcome him home. Hope you had a great time with the kiddos though and are now able to rest up.

It's almost worth husbands leaving to fully appreciate when they're home. Almost:)
