You Can't Make This Stuff Up

I just went in to get the boys out of their cribs from their nap. P was sucking/chewing on something, so I said, "P, what is in your mouth?"

He looked at me and said, "A dirty rock."

"A dirty rock? Spit that out."

I put my hand out and he obediently spit out a BOOGER.

Nice.

Oh, I just can't wait 'til mine are talking more ... the things that they say!! Dirty rock - is that what they're called these days?? :)

You're right. You CAN'T make this stuff up. Even if you tried, it wouldn't be nearly as funny!

LoL ewwww gross, I am so visual, but hey I would still give that precious baby a kiss.
I am so in awe at the life you have even midst the great responsibility, and from what I see you are the best suited for it! God is so gracious to have let you have it and I am glad he did!!!

If it makes you feel any better, last night I wiped off what I thought was a booger (I can hardly type that wordm it's so gross.) from the side of the bathroom cabinet. Later on, I found out through a muffled confession that it was not, in fact, a booger. It was poo. And somehow despite the fact that I change two sets of diapers each day, the poo from a child who's potty-trained is just much, much worse. Especially when it's on my white cabinet. Yuck. It is as Boomama said--the wonderful world of toddlers. :)
