Daddy was on call 5 out of 7 nights last week...that's worse than residency! Needless to say, the kids & I thoroughly enjoyed having him all to ourselves this weekend.
From feeding Daddy (and each other) Friday afternoon to reading together, they did not even let him out of their sight while he grilled Saturday night's dinner. 
We played outside, took walks, ate out, visitted the library, swam at the pool, watched a bike race, attended church and went out for ice cream.(At the ice cream parlor, K excitedly shouted "Jesus!" and pointed at the wall. It was an old album cover of Kenny Loggins.)
What a wonderful weekend of just being together!
It is a blessing to have such a loving Daddy & husband.

I am so happy that you do have an awesome husband and daddy. The picture of them looking out the window at him is just priceless. It just makes my heart so joyful to know that you both are raising such precious babies for the Lord. God Bless your precious family. Thankyou for sharing them with us.

OK, that cracked me up about Kenny Loggins looking like Jesus. I can definitely see the resemblance when he had all that facial hair and longer hair! So funny!
