Be An Original

The kiddos started Day Camp today. They are gone for 4 hours for 5 straight days. I have a huge To Do list, but no idea what to do with myself. This house is quiet & lonely! What am I going to do when they start school?

The highlight of going to camp is wearing their backpacks. They put them on 15 minutes early this morning so they could walk around the house wearing them and singing the BackPack Song from Dora.

P, of course, is never one to follow the crowd or do anything in a conventional manner. This is how he wore his backpack...

That's my boy!

The kids looke like they had a great weekend. So do you.

See - this is the main reason I homeschool. I can't imagine my days w/o them all around me.

They are so sweet! Enjoy that quiet time.

I agree w/Perri. This is one of the reasons we homeschool too. We are just officially starting this fall.

Such cute babies!(Okay, so they're not really babies, but anybody under five counts as a baby in my book.) Enjoy your time alone, and knowing that they're having such fun makes it okay:) I too, dread sending my first off to school, but I know he'll love it!

I know what you mean...my little girls are going camping with Daddy next week for three days! It's the first time my youngest has gone without me...and tent camping on the Oregon coast is just not my thing...it gets COLD! Anyway, I say all this because I have big plans also of doing all those little things I never have time for. But I know it's going to feel awfully quiet around here!
Love the back pack style- nice and original! ;)

How adorable, I could tell you what I'd do... SLEEP Have fun and enjoy your alone time. DO not do what I did with my daughter and go volunteering, yet.
Be Blessed

AAAAHHH! They look so grown-up like schoolkids, yet they are just babies. Hope you had some good alone-time.
