Career Plans

For a few years my children's career goals were consistent: K-clown, P-DJ & R-fire fighter, sports player, army man.

This Summer they have evolved a bit. For the sake of posterity, I wanted to record them here.

P would like to be a (Nintendo) DS game maker. It is fitting, when his screen time is over he often 'makes' cardboard DSes and draws elaborate game ideas.

R is still keeping his options open and would like to do it all (baseball player, football player, Army man, etc.)

K has the most creative ideas about her pursuits. She would like to be a singing veterinarian who designs and builds her own office. She will offer her artistic services to each of her clients--allowing them to decide if they would like her to paint a portrait of her patients while she is taking care of them, so they can take it home with them after their visit. And she wants to be a Mom. :-)

I love the idealism of youth!
