I almost titled this post with the words 'outtakes,' but that would somehow imply there were 'intakes.' It is getting more and more difficult to get pictures of the trio together, looking in the direction of the camera and smiling...so, instead, I present real life...P's new pose cracks me up. Work it, buddy!
Once given permission to be silly, the real smiles came out.
I love this picture for many reasons...the Easter Bunny in the background (unbeknownst to us) and the fact that R is trying to escape while his Daddy keeps him in place...all while smiling as if nothing is amiss.
My favorite picture from the day, however, is this one...Do you see the candy wrapper in his right hand. We were just about to sit down for lunch--and the "no more candy' mandate had been issued. This is the face of a busted little guy.
It was a gorgeous day of celebration.
Christ is Risen, Alleluia!

Mine got Webkinz too! A marshmellow bunny and horned lizard! Happy Easter!
hi! I've been reading for a while but I'm not sure that I've ever commented...at any rate I LOVE that pic in front of the tree with the easter bunny creeping in the background haha. My mom used to have to hold me down for family pics too :]
HE IS RISEN!
I love how y'all are all color coordinated! What a precious family on Easter!
Continuous prayers for you and your family.
Precious! The Lord is Risen Indeed! : )
I love these photos. They remind me of a southern belle and true southern gentlemen.
Just precious.

I *love* the outtakes pictures best!
Yep... he's busted! LOL
Beautiful pictures and beautiful day for our beautiful and glorious Lord... He is risen indeed! Love the baby blues on all of you (of course I'm partial to blue)
LOL. I'm cracking up at that last photo! Oh boy. The photos are absolutely awesome. And I love the Easter Bunny in the background....

Love your family pictures! And I love reading your spiritual insights into life. I admire your commitment to Christ, your family, etc.
I've been wondering about something for a few years now (my kids are teens) and would love your perspective on it. Easter has always been my favorite holiday because of the obvious -- resurrection, hope, etc. The increasing acceptance of the Easter Bunny on that day by Christians is puzzling to me. I don't want to come across as judgemental because we all clearly can make our own decisions. But I find it puzzling. Any comments?

Grant is so happy that someone else got to see the Easter Bunny too! Those pictures are fantastic. After seeing the one of a solo P, Grant says " I love that P!" Maybe it has something to do with having been in P's shoes!
