This afternoon I snapped this picture of my R holding our friend Lucy. As I glanced back at the picture the thought occurred to me...One day, my boy may be posing like this with a child of his own. My boy...a parent. I couldn't help but wonder if 25 years or so from now I will still see him in my heart as this dimpled little 5 year old guy, despite whatever grown up exterior he has at that time.
I also wondered if his sister would be monkeying around in the background with a goofy grin on her face then too.
Only time will tell. I decided to hold on to this picture just in case.

I am quite sure he will follow your example as a mother and as a christian so, he wii be quite a nice father, just wait and you will see . God bless you and your family.
Or perhaps he'll be holding a niece or nephew, while his or her parent looks on in the background. I love thinking about how my kids will be in relationship with one another when they're all grown up!
