Dressed for Success

My son, P, is delightfully quirky. He is very creative and hilarious without really intending to be. Frequently, costumes or props are involved (remember the life preserver?)

Despite my control freak tendencies, the children now choose their own clothes for school. This is how P came downstairs dressed for school today. No silliness intended, this is just what he was in the mood to wear.

Thankfully, headgear is not allowed on campus so he had to leave it behind in the car.

And one day he'll be walking down a beach somewhere, banging on a drum, literally marching to his own beat.

I love how there's no way to know what's going to come from P next.

What a riot! I too am trying to let go of the need to control his identity -guess I'll let him wear the (St Patty's Day) argyle socks with his shorts and sneakers next time.

P must just make you giggle all the time! I love your posts...you are such a great blogger/writer.

Who does your blog layout? I want to change mine and I was wondering if you hired someone to do it for you?

Thanks for always answering my blog questions....you really are someone I wish I could know in real life!

We should get the kids together! The latest thing at our house is the pretend weedwacker with goggles. Sometimes he doesn't even have clothes on!
