Adventures So Far

It is almost Noon here. We have already experienced each of the following: (WARNING: Not for the weak stomached. Have I mentioned we have 5 boys and K? This, my friends, is real life.)

1- As a child (of mine) was delivering a 'treasure' they found on the beach, I was squinting to see what it was...Then I recognized it. It was a feminine protection applicator. No further comment necessary.

2- Same child of mine was so thoroughly enjoying the playground that he neglected his body's signal that he needed to go to the restroom. Suddenly I heard, "Uh-oh! It's out. It's already out!" I looked over to see said child waddling wide-legged with hands covering his bottom.
Can I tell you how panic-stricken I am each time I have to evacuate a playground urgently? (Get out quick. Don't make a scene. AGGGHHH!)

Melinda was already in the bathroom with her children, so I could not leave my other two behind. As they are all asking, "WHY are we leaving? Why?" I was shouting commands, "Quickly. No questions. Come on!"

I could not help but notice the other Moms (and a grandmother in particular) who caught on to what was going on and finding great amusement from my predicament.

My poopy child waddled two buildings down with me for clean up. I was thankful for the built in undies in his swimsuit...until I had to clean them.

3- Still same child....asked me to please pour some warm water in the chilly pool so he could swim.

4- Different child (not mine) jumped into the shallow end of the pool (believing his swimming skills from last Summer were still up to par). They were not. A Mommy rescue ensued.

5- Mating frogs lept into the pool while we were swimming. All sorts of questions were posed about why they were riding piggy back. (We did not answer.)

We have already conquered the beach, two playgrounds, Starbucks, and a pool. Thankfully, Melinda has a great sense of humor, so we are having a blast...and the adventure has only just begun.

There is no telling what may happen after lunch.

I ask myself, I would have offered to help if I was there, but as a Mommy, would I want a stranger to help? Hmmm.

The mating frogs? Funny. Hubs will be counting frogs tonight as a part of his job. :)

Have fun. Who knows what else might pop up in your adventures?

Hilarious!
As for these mating frogs- it is amazing how hard the male can squeeze the female! (I worked with some bull frogs one summer...) God is one funny Creator.
