The Family That Plays Together...

Saturday morning before we left for Sharptop Cove, we went on a playdate with BeeBee, Poppy and Grandmama Dobbs. Because it was a was rainy, dreary day, we opted for our favorite indoor inflatable place.

The children had a great time--and so did my parents. This is my Mom being a terrific sport on the giant slide.

Because we were the only people in the establishment, we had our run of the place! The owner brought out a huge boxing glove and my husband and my father put on quite a silly show for the benefit of the children.I wish you could see R's face in this picture. All three giggled at the Daddy vs. Poppy antics, but R really LOVED it!

Most entertaining of all was when the owners introduced us to their newest activity, a paintball type course that uses small rubbery balls. Truth be told, I think the children are still a little small, but the adults had a blast.I could not contain my laughter when I looked across the room and saw my Mom coaching my son on markmanship. I had no idea she had it in her!

It was certainly an exciting (and memorable) way to spend a rainy morning!
