Although my children cannot express their thoughts as this 8-year old girl did, I wonder do they think the same thing in their little 4 & 5 year old minds. Thanks for reminding me to stop and spend more QT with my children.

You don't even realize how this has blessed my day. Something I REALLY needed to read this morning. Thanks for sharing.

THANK YOU!!!!!Much needed today (and really everyday :)) I loved the part about not being "ministry machines"--how "productive" I desire to be, but often not for the reasons that are glorifying to HIM.
PS-How did this am go? Prayed for the Scott bunch early this morning!

OUCH!!! I can't even say anything else. Thank you for sharing, so that we too can re-evaluate our "busyness".

Thank you for linking my devo to your gorgeous and beautifully written blog! I'm so honored to be here.

And thanks to all your readers who left such thoughtful comments. It is very humbling and encouraging to me, indeed.

I love the title of your blog as well as your story.

It's amazing how those life-altering moments in life give you a dose of eternal perspective.

My oldest son, Noah, died when he was nine months old. I prayed at that time that I would never, ever lose the clarity that incident gave me.

I pray you never do either.

Blessing to you and your beautiful family.
