The good news is that R is recovering very nicely. The bad news is that he now has developed a little ear infection as a grand finale to his week. The really good news is that it appears the rest of our family dodged a bullet and avoided contracting his funk.
The last several days have been a bit strange as we have had R at home with one parent while trying to keep K & P out of the house and engaged in normal activities. This has opened my eyes to how different it is to have two vs. three. (Because I have two hands for two children, things as simple as crossing parking lots are much less complicated.)
They have all dressed differently for the last few days (and it hasn't made me twitch!) I will be interested to see if they want to keep it up once R gets back in the groove with us.
And this is a completely gratuitous "Roll Tide!"

Daddy gave me a break from my duties in the sick bay yesterday. This allowed me to take K and P to meet my parents, sister and niece at the Georgia Aquarium to celebrate my parents' November birthdays. We spent some time enjoying the gorgeous Fall weather in Centennial Park before returning home. P & K practiced cartwheels in the park, even getting Aunt Boo & I to show off our rusty skills. (Thankfully there were no pictures of that.)Proving definitively that he is not his brother's keeper, P asked me as we were loading up to leave Atlanta, "Hey, Mom? Where is R?"
We were delighted to return home to find R feeling chipper enough to play outside. I love this shot of 'life in motion.'

I am glad R is feeling better...and Roll Tide, too!!!
So glad to hear that R is on the mend!
It's hilarious that P didn't realize (or at least think about) the fact that R wasn't there! :) Jacob can go through a weekend without really noticing that his older brothers are with their dad. They, thankfully (since they babysit for us, as well), are a little better at keeping track of HIM.
WOW - I hope his ear feels better soon! I love the "life in motion" pictures! SO sweet! I giggled at the last post - that was SO funny! LOVED the "how many times did I call you" - "five" and then the "I did not hear you" - SO funny!
My four and half year old will SCREAM at the top of her lungs "I AM QUIET NOW MOMMY" and still has YET to see the irony of screaming I am quiet :). Gotta love them :)!
Hope this week is a TON better and that you all enjoy a week of fun and health :).
