Princess K

This afternoon K & I attended a princess-themed birthday party while Daddy took the boys to play golf and get milkshakes. She has been looking forward to this event for weeks. She carefully selected her accessories and practiced her curtsy in preparation for a grand debut to her Daddy and brothers.
They oohed and aahhed appropriately, which left her beaming as we headed off to the party. As I took this series of pictures, I knew for certain I would see them again, at a certain young lady's wedding rehearsal dinner.
K is so blessed to have an earthly father who delights in her. This is undoubtedly laying a great foundation for her knowledge of the even deeper love of her Heavenly Father.

What a blessing for K as she learns what it means to truly be loved. I am so thankful that my husband does the same thing for The Bean. That investment will benefit my sweet girl for the rest of her life. What a treasure.

Thought for a minute that you'd gone to Disney and done the Bippity Boppity Boutique! What a regal girl! She has that "I'm very serious but can have fun" look on her face - priceless!

Also, love the handbag and jewelry. She sure looks different with her curls 'tamed' and wearing her tiara!

She is a very lucky girl to have a daddy that is going to teach her what to look for, one day, in a husband.

Oh, so sweet. K makes a beautiful little princess. She looks so demure with her hair all pulled back!

She was even more precious in person. Especially with the additional accessory of chocolate icing! : )

This made me all misty-eyed this morning, especially that wedding rehearsal comment.

She is indeed fortunate to have an earthly father who models such love to her. What a blessing.

Oh, she's precious...I've never seen her with her hair all pulled back.

And my Lily wanted me to mention that she makes a pretty Belle...I guess the dark hair and yellow outfit...

Save these pics because I promise you'll use them in a few years at a rehearsal dinner or wedding reception. We just married off three (in eighteen months) and those blown-up baby photos of long ago were priceless memories! It seems like a long time away, but I promise, unfortunately, it will be here before you know it. K is precious!!!

I just recently came upon your blog, and love reading about your busy life!

My four year old daughter has that very same dress! She wore it to her best friend's princess party.

Girls are such blessings!

As are boys. :-) I also have two.

She is even cuter in person! Her button nose, curly hair and contagious smile just make you want to melt. She is a little princess for sure! So, so cute.

One of the sweetest posts EVER! And how important it is that fathers remain married and devoted to their wives and give all these children a stable and loving home. I wish that were true for all children.
