Trailwest day-by-day

So far today I have washed 6 loads of laundry! Between loads, I am trying to put together day-by-day posts of our trip, since this blog is the only scrapbook we keep.

I am going to date the posts according to their actual date, so be sure to scroll down. It may take me a couple of days to get these all up. This is what I want to be doing, but real life and real responsibilities call...so it is probably a good idea for me to say, pay our bills, feed our family, go buy milk and pay a smidge of attention to my children today as well. :-)

UPDATED: OK! I have done through day 5 and my eyes are blurry. The rest will have to wait for tomorrow night.

Hi Jen, missed your inspiring blogs this past week. Glad y'all took time as a family to go have fun; & it looks like fun WAS had by ALL!!! Time away from real life is important, as a family & as a couple. But I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.
I loved all the pix.

I just spent some time reading through all your entries on your trip...what fun! Is this something that anyone can do - or do you have to have a "Young Life" connection? Would it be appropriate to take older children to this family ranch/camp? Looks like a great idea for a future family vacation!

Hey Sara! You do not have to have any affiliation with YL and it is great for all ages. I would say the PRIMO age would be 6-12, but truly there was plenty to do for 3 up to teenagers. (and their parents!)
