Love

I have been meaning to post this quote that Danielle left in the comments last week in response to indiscriminate compassion.

"Perhaps everything terrible is, in it's deepest being, something that needs our love" - Ranier Maria Rilke

I REALLY love that quote. The more I reflect on it, the deeper and truer it seems.

And not to trivialize the deeper meaning, but it has been a good reminder even in my family as one of my boys has been trying out some very difficult 3 year old behavior lately. Whew! He needs a lot of love these days!
