I just saw these photos my father-in-law took last month and wanted to get them into my little online scrapbook for posterity. I love this fun photograph of my R and the source of his dimples.
While the photo above does a great job of capturing our busy-ness and the one below captures a (somewhat) quiet walk.
The final one is special.
My sister-in-law, Amy, and her family were in town from Maine for a few days last month, so we enjoyed a couple of great visits. My husband's parents were on cloud nine to have all six of their grandchildren together (a rarity because of the distance between our homes). Our trio loved the time with their cousins!

I'm prob. going to get a lot of grief for this, but the real reason for commenting...
I'm a long-time lurker (since before their 2nd birthday) and I have to say it drives me absolutely bananas that you (more often than not) dress the boys alike and let K be distinct. I'm wondering if you're aware of that, or if there's a reason for it? Not that it's any of my business. It just seems that you are creating a twin v. singlet mentality.
They look like are having a blast with their grandparents. How blessed they are to have them around.

Hey Sheila, I actually rarely push them in the stroller anymore, but sometimes if the weather is nice and it is late in the day, we do go for a stroll around the neighborhood or a nearby golf course.
As for the dressing alike thing, honestly, it is just very difficult to find matching things appropriate for girls and boys at this age (especially in playclothes). K looks pretty in pink and likes to wear dresses--I am quite sure that wouldn't go over with the boys or my husband. :-) Likewise, boy clothes aren't appropriate for her, so we do the best we can staying in the same color scheme.
I almost always at least have them coordinated. In the pictures in this post, for example, her dress is pink and brown striped with brown leggings to match their brown shirts. In the final picture her corduroy dress has flowers the same color green as their corduroy pants.
I think I blogged about this last December, but I really like having them dressed as a team...and they haven't complained yet. Practically it helps me on playgrounds and in public places to scan and find my 3 quickly. I know well they may wake up one day and not want to dress alike anymore, so I'll use that as my indication it is time to move on...for now, no one seems to mind and I like the ease of only deciding once what the kids are wearing on a particular day.
