I asked God to help me see, really see, what was real, true and lasting...not just what was temporary. He showed me love. He showed me laughter. He showed me precious little developing hearts that need lots of support to figure out what to make of this big world and their place in it.
He reminded me again that I need Him to run this race. If I take off without Him, my true colors will invariably shine through--and that's not necessarily pretty.
Thank you, God, for restoration.
He also showed me the importance of rest...for them and for me. Now I am off to enjoy some!

Those pictures are priceless! And those hats are too cute...please tell me where you got them! Thanks.
They seem to have the best bond. I love it.
The hats are from magiccabin.com. I fell in love with them in the catalog. They came today and we just couldn't wait for a cold day to try them out!

Your post is such a wonderful reminder to all of us. Thank you.
That last picture could win a prize!
FROG always reminds me FULLY RELY ON GOD......FOREVER RELY ON GOD
sweet times!
Those hats are adorable! I love them. I was going to ask if you were like Sarah (in the midst of it) and then I saw your comment back about where to get them. Sorry you had a rough day. I find that on days when I look at the clock to notice how many hours till Daddy gets home/bedtime or whatever the event may be, it makes me cringe...the minutes seem like days and hours, well lets just not go there :), but I am glad that it ended well with sweet triplet love!
Bless you! I, too, have had days when I look at the clock and think 5 MORE HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad the rest/regroup has made such a difference. Your fresh perspective has been a blessing to all. Isn't it amazing how the tone/atmosphere/attitudes can change so dramatically in just an hour?
Oh-and cute pics! They look adorable!

You are such a blessing. I love the reminders you give all of us to start on our knees, get on them again when it's touch and finish there as well. These pictures made me laugh out loud - so precious!
Thanks you, thank you for sharing this! It really spoke to me right this minute!
Your children are SO adorable!! I just found your blog through Ashley Adams' blog yesterday and I cried when I read your story. How special and what a wonderful testimony! I feel like a complete bore after reading it. :-) I've got a house-full too...4 children 3 and under. All single births though.

Oh they are SO precious!
I was just getting caught up - when I read the post about discipline is hard - oh I can SO relate. I have three - five and under and our week has been SO trying and SO long...God has given me glimpses to fall in love with them again just when I think "I can't do this anymore" - they are such a gift - but require so much humility and honesty from me that I realize minutely how far I need to come in my walk...they are always telling me on those days that I am grumpy and I HATE that - because they are right. I love your blog - the honesty - the seeking God with all of your heart - just what I need to be reminded of after this week! Hope you have an amazing day today and an awesome weekend! Sunshine
I just want to say thank you for this post...what a great reminder it is for me as a mother! It is so impossible to do this alone but sometimes I forget that I do need to rely on my Heavenly Father and that He WANTS to be there for me and help me. Thanks again!
And those hats are adorable, your children are precious!
Yes, to *really* see, indeed! He hears our prayers!
And I see a trio of absolute JOY here! You are *blessed*, JMom!
They are beautiful.
I'm encouraged by your perseverance to have a heart of prayer.
Thanks for taking the time to remind me what really matters in life today.
