Now that the weather is a bit milder, we have started spending 15-20 minutes playing outdoors when we get home from preschool.
Yesterday R had to go potty, so I escorted him to the bathroom and returned to gather up K & P. When I looked out into the backyard, I saw them walking slowly toward me holding hands.
Before I could say anything, K reported, "We are holdin' hands 'cause we're fwends. We hafta stick together, Mommy!"
Melt.
P just beamed as she looked at him and said, "You are my best fwend."
Melt. Melt.
A few minutes later, as I was trying to corral shoes, socks and little people for naps K reached her hand out for P who was standing a couple of feet away.
"Hold my hand. We stick together, wemember?"
Melt. Melt. Melt!
After naps I took them to the mall in search of jeans for skinny minis. As we journeyed toward the food court I was walking a couple of paces ahead of them. I could hear them chattering and glanced back every few seconds, just to insure we were all together. I started to notice people pointing a little more than usual with wide smiles. I looked back to see the kiddos walking (kinda stumbling) three-across with their arms all wrapped around each other's necks. They were giggling and had huge grins on their faces. It really was precious.
May they always enjoy sticking together! (Unless of course it is mischief they are working to keep concealed from me.)

Now that is beautiful and precious.
Melt melt melt melt is what that does to a mommas heart.
I can just picture them, strolling along, oblivous to everyone around them and only concentrating on each other.
Those stories are precious. My heart also melts when I see my own kids loving each other. (Just wish as they get older, I could see it more often!)
It reminds me that one of the greatest gifts I could give them is each other.
Melt.
Sweet memories.
how precious!
That precious scene will probably keep me smiling for the whole morning. Too cute!
Aw how cute!
Jeans for super skinny kids...The Childrens Place. Gotta love adjustable waist!
I have a TALL 6 year old with the waist of a 2 year old!
What a blessing to be a part of such *beautiful* moments! Isn't it neat to know that even if they quit holding holds down the road, they'll still "stick together"? Beautiful.
Moments like those are PRICELESS!! My heart is melting too!!!
HA! I think your last line nailed it. Don't let them get too close. Otherwise, you'll be seriously outnumbered.
But right now, they are the sweetest things.
That is all just too sweet! I got new goosebumps with each paragraph!
Awwww! I love it when my girls are getting along and love on each other.
