Truly, the best way to turn a bad day into a good one around here is to take the show outside! The trip to the pool today really turned things around. Annie went with us for the first hour, then I made my inaugural solo voyage in the pool with the trio for the next 45 minutes. It went suprisingly well! The fact that they wear floaties, stay right by the stairs in the shallow end where they can touch bottom and we were being supervised by lifeguards helped a great deal. Nevertheless, it was a new milestone. I probably will not make a habit of taking them swimming without another pair of hands until they are more proficient in the water...but knowing it can be done is encouraging!
After naps, we met a friend of mine and 2 of her sons for dinner and a free concert downtown. The kids (5 aged 3 and under) had an absolute blast! Amy and I laughed until our sides hurt and their dancing and antics. (Watch your volume, we were seated directly in front of a speaker)
P was showing off his tiger dance, R was just running (and running and running) and K was enjoying the attention of a certain little boy. The blonde cutie stealing a kiss from K is our neighbor. That was the first time they have ever kissed. I couldn't believe we caught that on tape!
P.S. P did not draw that picture...he was just finishing it off.

How sweet. So many memories right there in 30 seconds.
Andi and I LOVE the tiger dance. We could watch it for hours!
Forgot to post my name on comment about K's first kiss. Oh, and I'll try to always use only initials in my comments now. Probably a good idea!
A friend thru your entries,

That was adorable! The tiger dance had me cracking up and the little kiss at the end was so sweet!
