Just an FYI to any of you who read this on Bloglines or a similar service. I am going to be going through and taking the kiddos' names off every post (all 400 plus--AGGH!)over the next several days. So, you might want to ignore the number of "New Posts" for a while.
Also, to regular readers and commenters, if you could honor my attempts to get our names out of cyberspace and just use first initials from now on in comments (and nothing revealing our city) that would be terrific! I will now just be JMom.
Nothing has happened, I just realize they are getting older and I ought to be more careful. I wrote a post on Internet Security a while back. I still stand by those thoughts...but just decided this would be a relatively simple step to take.
One last thing, if you are interested in how to start talking to your kids about Stranger Danger, I really recommend this video. Even my 3 year olds watch it and seem to understand the basics.
Happy Weekend!

Have fun, I did the same thing earlier this year.
That is a good idea... one I should probably follow your example of. Thanks for the tip!
I have done the same just using dd (dear daughter, ds#1 dear son born 1s, ds#2, dh, etc.). I don't know how much is enough but I do know God is in control!!! (((hugs)))
Smart idea, JMom. We've always used pseudonyms around our place. I will wholeheartedly abide by your wishes to protect your family, too.
Wondered what the heck was going on! LOL Changed ya on my blogroll. I'll try to find where I had ya in my few posts...

Very good idea, but here's a tip my hubby gave me while I was doing my blog. "IF" someone had been tracking your blog, your last name is your blog name, so that could be dangerous. My hubby, who is an computer genius, suggests, no personal info at all...no last names, names of kids, towns, cities, friends, anything. I've been reading your blog for a few months. I found it just by browsing through a blog search.
Just some advice, take or leave it...but your last name really shouldn't be your blog name.
Safety should always come first, especially when it comes to little ones.
BTW, just to save you some time . . . you could post only your most recent archives and keep the others hidden off your blog. Just go in and change your settings in blogger. Might save you all the time of changing all 400 posts!
Just a thought.
