Joy in the Simple Things
When things get crazy, it helps to remember the simple joy that childhood is about. (After these photos were taken, I put down the camera and jumped in, too.)
So cute! I love the look on their faces! Kudos to you for letting them get wet and messy...I probably would have walked a-r-o-u-n-d the puddle with my girls!
My prediction is that our daughters will share similar nicknames as we had in high school...at least we have figured out a few tricks about product and flat irons since then!!!!
Renee- I puddle jump barefoot like a good Alabama girl. (That's where I grew up.) Jennisa- We had just had spaghetti for supper and it was bath night...I figured they couldn't get much dirtier. :-) Suzy- I was just looking at some high school pictures thinking the same thing. Maybe big hair will come back in...Those wild curls fit her personality to a T.
LOVE these pictures! Puddle jumping is the best! I look forward to some more rain around here so we can get our boots on again! Thanks for the smiles. Nicole
Gotta love a puddle jump. Jacob still to this day drives out of the way on the road to go through puddles for me because I still get such a kick out of them. Glad to hear you joined in too- puddles are made to be splashed in.
I still treasure a photo of my son, when he was too young for school, on the sidewalk across the street, little yellow rainboots and and coat, and an umbrella, literally singing and dancing in the rain. Good for you for capturing it, and joining in. xoxo

Good for you for jumping in too! They will remember THAT much longer than anything caught on camera! *wink*
Kate's hair is hilarious! Brings back fun memories from childhood.
These pictures made me smile this morning! Glad to know you enjoy these moments with them! You are an inspiration!
So, were your boots red to match Kate's?
How sweet! Those are precious times!!
