Thanks for all the compliments on the new look. I figured it was fitting to have a new bloggy look to go with my new home. All the credit goes to Susie at Bluebird Blogs. She is so talented, very reasonably priced and really nice to work with!
The closing went smoothly. Afterwards, we went and picked up the children and brought them to the house for a picnic supper (of Chic-fila). After letting them run wild inside the empty house for a while, we sent the kiddos home with Annie and stayed behind to pray over each room. It was so awesome to look at those empty rooms and think about all of the joy, laughter, heartbreak, and defining life moments that would likely occur within those walls.
I told my hubby as we were toasting with champagne, it was truly my favorite anniversary yet. To be in blue jeans & boots at a card table talking and praying about our future with the one I love...bliss!

Jen, What a beautiful way to spend your anniversary. It is awesome how you and Ryland live your faith.
I wish for many, many happy years for you to share with the love of your life.
I LOVE the new blog look. And the pictures that you have on it. They are so neat.
yay! i love the new look. i kept wondering where your old header went with the kiddos photos. this is too cute. and glad your closing went well! happy moving.
Keri- I am laughing because when I deleted the old header (by accident) as I was switching to the new blogger platform, I thought it was only temporary until this new design was ready...alas, life happens and it took a little longer than expected. Oh well, good things come to those who wait! :-) When are you gonna start a business doing blog design?
