I have been so tearful today, because I TRULY know that I don't need anything in pretty packages. I have everything I need. I really felt silly accepting gifts today. I am blessed beyond measure with my family, my friends and most importantly, my Loving God.
It has taken 32 years, but I am finally starting to '"get it." This has truly been the most special Christmas ever.

i've enjoyed your last few posts. it's so easy to get sucked into the stress and "stuff" of christmas. thanks for your truthful words and reminders that we have everything we need....and we are certainly blessed beyond measure. enjoy those sweet kids...looks like you had a fun day!

Precious.... and I'm thankful God is working so much in your life. I guess we'll always be in the process of "getting it".... but goodness, it's always a blessing to see the growth firsthand... to see that God is still doing His work in our hearts despite ourselves. And it's really amazing how God is using your 3 little ones to bring so much perspective... to you and all of us. Love you and merry Christmas!
