So, I just looked across the room to where the children have been playing quietly for the last few minutes to find a poinsettia upside down on the carpet with potting soil and leaves scattered about.
Me: (serious voice) "Who did THIS?"
R: "I DID!!!" (proudly)
Me: "Was it an accident or on purpose?"
R: "On purpose." (with a smile)
Me: "You did this on purpose?"
R: "Yes!" (frankly-NO sign of shame)
Me: "It made such a mess. Why did you do this?"
R: "FUN!"
**Updated after dinner where the following conversation occurred**
Me: "R, what is that on the floor by your chair?"
R: "My din-ner." (matter of factly)
Me: "How did it get on the floor?"
R: "I spit it out." (eyes asking "what are you going to do about that?")

As Barney Fife would say"nip it, nip it in the bud". Just kidding, the looks they give make it impossible.
Love,
Mom

....my own 15 mo old mild mannered, very well behaved son is starting to throw tantrums and just act out of the ordinary...and I am lost!
I love it. It is said with such innocence. Colton does the same. Like hey, just having a little fun here. Give me a break.
LOL, remember to thank God for the challenges!!!
