Festivals

We had a terrific weekend enjoying glorious Fall weather by attending a couple of outdoor festivals.

Sunday, at the Indian Festival, the children's expressions were priceless. K and R found the Indians a bit intimidating. P, in his true scientist/investigator fashion, was wide-eyed, especially when they started dancing. Without ever taking his eyes off the performers he was twitching his little arms and legs trying to emulate their movements. When the rhythm of the drum beats picked up, he let out a scream. It was as if he just could not contain his excitement!
And as evidence that all of my "Mommy referee-ing" is being imprinted on their brains, when the Indian dancers started kicking their legs P sternly shouted, "NO KICKING, Indian!"

  1. How very precious, and what fun!!! Parker is going to be the Dr. like his daddy for sure.
Aren't they just the most precious babies? I have never met them and I feel like I know them. I love hearing new things.
    Be Blessed Jenmom.
