A Visit with Santa

Our day was a stressful saga...partially due to poor planning on Mommy's part. If you are AT ALL familiar with Atlanta, you know that my plans to ride the Pink Pig at Lenox, meet two old friends with their children, visit with grandparents, dine in the food court AND make it over to Phipps for Santa within a three hour period on a Friday, at lunch time, during Christmas were doomed from the start. (I am nothing if not an overachiever and overcomitter!)

The children loved Santa and, predictably, chatted his ears off. Thankfully he was miked and I have ordered DVD of the experience. All is truly well that ends well! The children had a blast. We got some great pictures...and of course, their favorite part of our whole grand adventure was the mall security guard we chatted with in the Food Court while we waited for our lunch.

It's beginning to look A LOT like Christmas...

You get an A in my book for even attempting to go near downtown that time of day, much less in December!!! We live east of Atlanta, and I do my very best to avoid "downtown"!!!

That Santa is beautiful isn't he!!
Sounds like he got an earful. That DVD will so precious.

What an awesome photo and you got a DVD...Oh you are so lucky!

We just did our Santa visit this morning. We have one little girl that is afraid of him so we only have a picture with two of the kids in it. I guess that is just part of the story!

Oh the Joy of this season. This has been the best one yet with these kids!

Having visited Atlanta a couple of times and driven through twice while on college road trips, I can imagine how hard it must have been to travel downtown with the added Christmas season traffic. You Go Girl!

That is the best Santa I've seen. Have you had the same one each year? I hope they asked you for permission to use this picture in their advertising. It's priceless!

What a kind-looking Santa! Glad it was a good (albeit busy) experience.

Ambitious is an understatement. Going to Lenox and Philpps on a Friday and at Christmas?! The photo of the children is beautiful. I can just imagine what they told Santa.

Oh how precious! What an awesome idea to mike Santa so you can hear and get a recording - what a priceless treasure to have! I have been busy busy busy this past week and a half with company and then my oldest has had the flu :( but I wanted to stop by and check and see how you all are - I adore your blog! Take care Sunshine

What a great photo and the Santa looks good also. I'm not sure what a pink pig is but I'm sure it's fun. Great memories for you and your little ones.

Precious Jen!
My friend also took her little one to the PINK PIG! For those of us NOT from your area - what exactly is the PINK PIG? Just curious?
Blessings!
