Our family grew yesterday as Ryland's sister, her husband and 2 children welcomed Avital Catherine to the world at 6:45PM. They live in Maine, so we will not officially meet her until we visit in June...but are so happy she has joined us! My brother-in-law is an Old Testament scholar and professor. Avital (pronounced ah-vee-tall)was one of King David's wives (see 2 Samuel) and means "God is our Sustainer."

This is Meghan who was your baby nurse in training 3 years ago. I just thought that I'd let you know that I remembered your website somehow and have enjoyed your logs. I am now engaged to marry a wonderful guy named Heath. He is in his first Anesthesiology residency. We will be married in two months. I remember meeting you guys and thinking that the guy I was dating at the time wasn't all I had been saving myself for and it became apparent after meeting you guys. We broke up that week. Heath is all that I was wanting we read the bible together at night and pray together. He has the same high standards I have upheld. Thank you for your good example.
