The kitchen is the biggest project. This is not a true "before" because we had already removed dark green countertops/backsplash and appliances. In the "during shot" we had cut an opning in the wall to allow for access to the breakfast room. The island and paint should happen within the next week. This will be the greatest transformation.
This is not a true before of the boys' room, as it was sage green.
I am finishing up the transformation of K's room, our bathroom and the kids' bath. More progress reports next week!

I felt the same way when we moved a few months ago and went without service. It was nice. The house is beautiful! I know you'll be glad to get back some normalcy.
Jen, I love your new house and I even know where it is! No...I am not a scary stalker-type person. My sweet 89 year old Grandmother has lived in that neighborhood for over 50 years, and she is always so excited to tell me when families with young children move in. I think she feels like the neighborhood is returning to its roots--a great place to raise a family. Plus, she loves, loves, loves little ones. My own kids would seriously rather go see her than go anywhere else in town. Anyway, I wish you all much happiness there! Oh, and I LOVE your neighbors on both sides!
Wow, your blog was very inspiring Jennifer. Those are great words of encouragement about what really matters in life. Thank you.
Love the subway tile in the kitchen! And the boys room looks so sweet. I REALLY need to get Alex into her big bed. Have you had problems with them climbing out? The mantel in the living room is a HUGE difference. Much better!
Hugs!
Sandy
I can't wait to see more pictures - but I'm guessing I will - at least till Monday. Enjoy your tech-free weekend with the kids. The house is looking great. Large rooms and hardwood floors - how cool.
Your house is beautiful! Please do keep us posted on the renovations...
