The kiddos are healthy again--hallelujah! Now it is my turn. What is it about a Mommy Immune System that is able to fight illness until everyone else is on the mend?
I actually feel fine, I just have a very, very sore throat. My voice is GONE. The only noise I can manage to squeak out is a result of talking in my lowest "cookie monster" voice. This has already presented its challenges this morning. I once read that whispering was a great way to get your children to listen to you. If this morning is any indicator...I am calling that theory baloney!
Thankfully, the inmates will only be allowed to run the asylum for a brief period this morning, as Annie is coming to babysit K & P while I take R to music class. (We rotate who gets to go each M/TH for some one-on-one time with Mommy.)
On a good day, my singing voice leaves much to be desired...so the Mute Mommy at Music this morning may actually be a welcomed change for the other participants. Uh oh, sounds like the kids are getting into something...I am off to use my most intimidating whisper on them. :-)

The nice thing about motherhood are the paid sick days. Those really help! HA!
Maybe you should get a little whistle to wear around your neck until your voice comes back!!
hope you feel better!
When I was little and my mother lost her voice for a few days, she used a great big brass bell to summon our attention - just an idea!
