We started the day with Kindermusik, then ran errands, followed by lunch in the driveway (strapped in again while Mommy cleaned up the house for a showing.) Today's showing was smack dab in the middle of naptime. Despite my protests to the realtor, it was "the ONLY time" these particular folks could come. So, I rounded up pack and plays and set up shop in the new house. I thought the kiddos would enjoy the adventure. Even in empty rooms, it took them almost an hour and a half to settle down and go to sleep. Just as they were drifting off, I received a call that the potential buyers had something come up and had to cancel their appointment. AHGHGHGHG! Thankfully, our realtor is a good friend of ours and knew he'd better schedule someone else in that time or face the wrath of me. :-) He scheduled someone else.
The kids finally slept and all was well. After naps, we had a picnic snack, explored our new backyard (including heckling a few golfers with "Hey, golfer-man. HEEEYYY!") and even managed a trip to the playground to enjoy the gorgeous Spring weather.
What was that verse for today's prayer again? "I have learned to be content whatever my circumstances..."

Selling a house can be trying on a busy mommy! I remember that! Maybe it will sell really soon! I hope and pray that for you guys!

The floors in your new home are beautiful! I cannot wait to get into a home with hardwood floors throughout. I loved them in our 125yr old home ... well, except for the cold mornings. :)
