Don't Miss This!

Many of you have been introduced to my friend Cabell through her writing on caringbridge during her late husband's fight with cancer. She is so wise, incredibly talented and has a heart for people that is inspiring.

Today I am THRILLED to direct you to her new blog, Gooseandchickadees.com. It is an ongoing letter to three young ladies that she has been mentoring, discipling, investing in for the last four years. They are each embarking on their freshman year in college this month. Her gift to them is continued prayer and sharing of herself as they enter this new chapter.

I begged her to let me pass on the link, because although her intended audience is women 18-19 years old, I am certain God will use it to speak to many of us older girls as well.

 Be blessed!

(In addition to the heart blessing, she has also unintentionally inspired me to simplify my blog formatting :-)

  1. Thanks for the link. Cabell is a gifted writer and I look forward to being blessed and challenged through her advice and prayers for these college freshmen. It was only 22 years ago I was in their shoes, LOL! Truly seems like yesterday.

Also, love the new format! Very clean and simple. Praying God's richest blessings on you and your sweet family today.

  2. Things I am grateful for:
    1. The way you love Jesus. 2. The way you encourage me without ceasing. 3. The way you live your life with grace and generosity. 4. That I get to call you a dear, dear friend.
