Do you see that? Not just the precious toes...the tufts of bright green grass... Spring is coming. Spring is coming!
It was a gorgeous, clear 70 degree afternoon today, so the children and I peeled our socks off and took our first barefoot walk of 2009. It felt terrific! (To everyone but P--the combination of not feeling well and being a bit sensory led him to keep his socks on.) We breathed in the Spring-y air and rejoiced that another Winter seems to be moving on.Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Old Man Winter.
I am a huge fan of Spring and all it represents. Peeling off the layers, breathing deeply, enjoying the fruits of the pruning from prior months, sunlight, time outdoors, freedom, renewal. After a long, sickness-filled Winter, my heart is ready...Bring it on!
Love it!!! The green grass AND the cute little feet!
ReplyDeletePraying for you tomorrow!!!
