Although my children cannot express their thoughts as this 8-year old girl did, I wonder do they think the same thing in their little 4 & 5 year old minds. Thanks for reminding me to stop and spend more QT with my children.
Although I am no longer a mother to small children I find great inspiration and life lessons in your blog posts and your life as you share it with us here. God has blessed you and will continue to do so I am sure. Thanks for sharing your life and your perspective with us...this is a great ministry reaching thousands of people from many walks of life.
THANK YOU!!!!!Much needed today (and really everyday :)) I loved the part about not being "ministry machines"--how "productive" I desire to be, but often not for the reasons that are glorifying to HIM. PS-How did this am go? Prayed for the Scott bunch early this morning!
Thank you so much for your comment! I appreciate and read every one. One of my favorite parts of blogging is learning from other people's life experience.
If you have a question, make sure I have an email or can access your blogger profile to message you back. You can always email me through my blogger profile if you prefer.
Great reminder! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for linking my devo to your gorgeous and beautifully written blog! I'm so honored to be here.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks to all your readers who left such thoughtful comments. It is very humbling and encouraging to me, indeed.
I love the title of your blog as well as your story.
It's amazing how those life-altering moments in life give you a dose of eternal perspective.
My oldest son, Noah, died when he was nine months old. I prayed at that time that I would never, ever lose the clarity that incident gave me.
I pray you never do either.
Blessing to you and your beautiful family.
