Yesterday afternoon the five of us were enjoying the Fall weather by playing in the backyard. The edge of our property line borders a golf course. Specifically, there is a cart path between two holes that brings golfers right along the lower portion of our backyard.
As a foursome was walking along the path, P ran down the hill towards the path shouting, "Hey! Hey ! HEY!" until he had the attention of all four of the men. Then he yelled excitedly, "DO YOU WANNA COME UP TO MY HOUSE AND SEE SOME POOP?"
(We had just finished cleaning dog poop off of the bottom of R's shoes.)
My husband and I burst into laughter. The golfers (thankfully) moved along. In retrospect we think (hope!) they couldn't make out what he was saying.
