My Distraction
I haven't been nearly as devoted to the blog in the last few days because of all the Fall busy-ness...and because I have my face stuck in a book--a really good one. If you haven't read Same Kind of Different As Me you are missing out. Wow! I am 2/3 of the way through, so hopefully, I'll have some time for writing again soon...

Thank you so much for your comment! I appreciate and read every one. One of my favorite parts of blogging is learning from other people's life experience.
If you have a question, make sure I have an email or can access your blogger profile to message you back. You can always email me through my blogger profile if you prefer.
This book is precious! I read it this summer, and I couldn't put it down.
ReplyDeleteTheir story is incredible...and I want so badly to live a compassionate and loving life such as the Hall's.
I've read your blog and love your sweet stories. You are inspiring!
I read it in 2 days which is unheard of for me! It is an amazing story that gave such a strong message to all that read it. Hope you enjoy! Blessings, Ashley
ReplyDeleteI loved this book. Tell me when you finish it so we can talk about it.
ReplyDeleteYour are the 2nd person to 'tell' me about this book in the last week. I'll be reading it soon!
ReplyDeleteOh me, I read that book a few months ago. I could not put it down either. And the last 1/3 of it...well, let's just say the tears FLOWED!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, this book is amazing. It is one of those books I don't want to end, but I also couldn't stop reading it.

you are the 3rd person to recommend this book, so i guess i am going to have to grab it!
ReplyDeleteI read this book and OH...it was powerful! I loved it! Especially chapter 22 (I think it's chapter 22) the part about "catch and release fishing". I have passed this book on to friends. It took me two days of staying up late to read this book and at one point I had to get up and get some water to calm myself from all the emotion. The last paragraph of this book I have written in my personal "book of quotes and things I want to remember". This book is definately one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteYeah - I am so glad you got it!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great book! Our book club read it as our first book back in May. Enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite books, I am buying it for friends for christmas!
